Swan and Flowers

LA DE DAH!!!  I am so in love with parchment crafting!  I had SO much fun doing this card!  I incorporated some other card basics; used pop dots to raise the image, and made parchment flowers!  The parchment paper curls just like regular paper when used with a stylist.  I used my new shading tool, and it made it so much easier!

I still haven't received my pen and ink for tracing that I ordered, so I have just been laying the parchment over the printed design and doing the work.  I know when I do it the right way with the white ink it will look a whole lot better.  I also used a larger needle for the edges.  I have a pair of parchment snipers ordered too, so I am anxious to use them and see it my edges get better.

I'm really getting afraid that I will not want to do my regular cards any more, lol!  This is just such a delightful craft!

  2. WOW WOW WOW This is fabulous :-)
I shall be asking you for tips soon ;-)
And you're right - you won't want to do any other type of card making again!

  3. What a stunning beauty, Joanne! This takes my breath away!

  4. Wowee, that swan is lovely, you really are getting to grips with this Joanne, do keep it up, I love to see how you are progressing with this lovely craft

  6. So beautiful. Can you recommend any beginner books that are relatively easy to understand. I don't know what to buy or where to start. I backed off cardmaking for a while. I recently found out that I have breast cancer. It kind of really took me by surprise. Tuesday is my surgery then I'll have six weeks of radiation after I'm healed. Fortunately, it was caught very early. I'm glad I go every year for my mammogram.

Mahalo for taking the time to leave a comment on my blog. I appreciate it so much! Aloha....
